Wednesday morning burn

Woke up with symptoms of a UTI, which got progressively worse for a while. This was terrifying to me because UTI's are the worst pain I've ever had to endure. I phoned my doctor's office and was told in no uncertain terms that they could not see for at least a month and anyone else in the practice could not speak to me until the 19th at the earliest. I tried to tell the triage nurse that all I need is labs and, if the labs show an actual infection, a prescription. They checked my phone number and said someone would phone me back later when they had time.
I went online in MyChart and sent a message. Then I requested a vist online and got a TeleMed appointment this morning. The young doctor phoned me back within the hour and had time to speak to me before the appointment if I had time, which I did. After checking my symptoms, she immediately ordered the UTI lab test and prescribed an antibiotic for me to pick up but not use until the lab results come back.
Meanwhile, I've continued to drink as much water as possible and I feel better than when I first woke up.
