thursday

Woke up this morning feeling unwell, almost like a tiny hangover with the morning headache and a bit of nausea. My nostrils are snotty and dry at the same time, like I can feel dried crystals up high that I can't blow out yet. Maybe a steamy shower later will help.
Last night was the 3rd dose of Monistat I've done to combat what feels like a yeast infection. It still burns on application but not as bad, so that seems to be doing the trick for that malady.
My body is not happy this week.

It now dawns on me that it was exactly a year ago that I was having intense morning headaches while I was home recovering from my lung surgery. At the time, I thought the headaches must have been related to my surgery or medications, which made sense to me. Now, with the morning headaches returning one year later at this time, I am wondering if there is an odd seasonal thing happening to me. It could be a weird coincidence or I could have actually been infected with something by the coughing woman in the theatre last week but it now seems like something is happening outdoors this time of year that is toxic to me.
At 12:30pm today, the headache is finally relenting a bit. I haven't been able to eat anything other than a protein shake this morning.
