I didn't drink New Years Eve because
a. I had to go to at least two parties in two locations at different sides of the city.
Because there was more than one place to make it to, taking a cab was financially out of the question.
b. The weather was that awful combination of rain at night.
Driving at night is no problem. Driving in the rain is no problem. But at night, in the rain, is a pain to navigate.
That being said, I spend the holiday with many good people, enjoying lots of great food.
