Thanksgiving 2025

Thanksgiving was spent with Jennifer's family. Gaby and Ella cooked dinner and it was a huge success.
I am very thankful that we now have people who can cook in our family. The turkey was perfect - crisp skin, tender and moist, well-seasoned. That was served with fresh green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, herb stuffing with veggies like carrots, celery, etc. All that and there was pie for desert.

We played a game afterwards, "Artsy Fartsy", and caught up a bit. We met Ella and Rachael and I am inspired by Rachael telling me she has a good experience as a professional pet-sitter. Maybe that can me my retirement job. It sounds like something flexible enough to have a life as well as an activity that give me purpose. I can't do production (which was probably the cause of my cancer) or part-time retail work (which took away any chance of having a life here) anymore but I need work.
